A map of Shaina’s life

I’m going to tell you a bit of a scary story today.. so, I hope you’re sitting down.

It’s about a little girl.

Once upon a time there was a girl named Shaina . She had a disease called shyness in the earliest years of her life. In school she was an awkward penguin , excluded from the group with a low self esteem and socializing skills. Despite of all these she still felt certain that there was something Big and important for her to do.

Every morning, she would wake up , excited about the new day. Impatient to run and look out of the window. She took each fresh day as an opportunity to learn.

Keeping her eyes open for where she should be going , and the things she should be doing to make a difference.

And for a while she thought she was on the right path.

But about the time she grew up , things started getting a little less certain. Things happened out of blue. Her mum got into prison. She and her father was all by themselves. At that turning point of her life she felt insecure and wanted to do something for survival. By that time she was already a graduate and was eligible enough to work. So, she started looking for a job to feel secure. Well, she did get to work in two companies for a short period of time. But, as soon as her mum got back from prison her family told her to chose between studies and work. At that time she thought money was more important to her so, she chose work over studies.

Clouds covered the sun it became less clear whether she was following the path that had been laid out for her . She started feeling like she was wasting her precious time on something she lacked passion for. Therefore , she left the job.

After quitting the job somedays it felt like she was wandering through a confusing, dark wood, uncertain about where to go next..

She started wondering how she’d gotten to this srange isolated place in life and even she herself started doubting whether she’d ever known where she was supposed to be going in the first place. It began to seem as if she would never find the way out of it.

And back onto a clear, true path again through the medium of her childhood sweetheart she regained hope. She saw everything beautiful. Her life filled with colors.

She searched for things that she had passion for and started marching towards it. She was not scared to take chances and expand her boundaries. This is how Shaina found her path.

There are plenty of youths out there wandering how to grow professionally in this day and age where competition is growing in a rapid pace. Some of us are strong to quickly get back on our toes after having a fall whereas, the few of us need special support and care to get repaired.
